Monitoring und Management von Wildtieren im Nationalpark Neusiedler See - Seewinkel (inklusive Trappen-Monitoring / Hansag)
Abstract
The aim of the research project is to develop and establish a basic wildlife monitoring and game management concept in the region of the National Park Neusiedler – Seewinkel. The project will focus on the following main questions: population size and changes of red deer, roe deer and wild boar; seasonal and spatial distribution of ungulates in the national park area, impact of wild boar on vegetation and ground breeding birds, monitoring of carnivores, monitoring of the Great Bustard; proposals for management measures concerning ungulates within the territory of the national park and the adjacent habitats relevant for wildlife species.
