Research Focus

We analyse and teach integrative sustainability issues in the fields of AGRICULTURE & FOOD | ENERGY | ENVIRONMENT | REGIONS. As economists and social scientists, we work disciplinarily and collaborate with other disciplines and non-academic actors to integrate problem-based approaches into inter- and transdisciplinary solutions. The focus of our teaching and research is Austria and Europe, with transregional and global perspectives. We co-create and share knowledge with representatives from civil society, businesses, and public administration.
