Abstract
In Central Europe moldboard plowing dominates in arable farming systems. Conservation tillage techniques are used to reduce soil compaction and soil erosion. On the basis of a long-term field experiment the effects of different tillage systems (plow, mulch tillage, no-tillage) on soil parameters and plant growth will be tested.
