Complete utilisation of lignocellulose

This project aims at the complete utilization of ligneous biomass to value added products. Depending on the feedstock, different material flows shall be attained by chemical, physical and microbial methods, leading to economically usable products. Modularity of the process concept allows the use of different substrates, leading to different products. Economic and ecological evaluation will define the potential of the concept.
