Abstract
The central aim of the project is to provide competitive SIDecA commodity and the development of optimal utilization scenarios for energy recovery. Holistic processing along the entire value chain of the energy plant Sida generates raw materials that are adapted to the different uses for maximum energy yield. Optimized crop establishment, utilization-optimized culture conditions, increased energy density, and measures to increase the energy efficiency of different energy recovery options will increase attractiveness, affordability and competitiveness of this new sustainable energy source.
