Strategic Planning of the water supply system of Rankweil

Because of special situations of some water abstractions it is not possible to identify a protectian area to the current state (OVGW W72). In some cases an equal protection concept have to be worked out for water safety from resource to consumer. This concept contains in moste cases early warning, buffer capacity and treatment procedures. With a hydraulic model of the distribution network, critical sections (eg. size, age, sensitive consumers) will be identified. The results will be used as basis for strategic planning of water supply services.
