Potentials of secondary streets - Vienna in its international context
Abstract
Building upon the results of the study "Vienna Specifics" completed 03/2014, the Situation in international examples/cities will be examined. Which cities and situations are apt to serve as an example to improve the Viennese streetscape. The aim is to compensate the lack of open spaces in the densifying city. Data, analogue and digital, studies, best-practice-examples will form the basis of the comparison with regard to the streets' design, uses, and regulations. Three European cities will be chosen as study cases.
