Development of a strtegy for the collection and recycling of photovoltaik modules at waste collection centres in Upper Austria

The market for photovoltaic modules is increasing strongly. Within EU in 2010 some 29 GWp have been installed, for 2015 an installed capacity of 69 GWp is expected. Against this background an increasing mass of end-of life needs to be taken into account. In the project scenarios for technical suitable and economically feasible collection and recycling of photovoltaic modules at municipal collection centres in Upeer Austria are developed.
