Safeguarding the drinking water supply with water treatment
Abstract
The Wasserleitungsverband Nördliches Burgenland supplies approximatly 97% of the population in the northern part of Burgenland/Austria with drinking water (14-15 million cubic meter a year). The aim of the project is (i) the evaluation of applicability and costs of technical water treatment and (ii) the identification of necessary processing facilities for a future water supply with high drinking water quality.
