FishCam Monitoring Fischliftschleuse Gössnitz

The main goal of the research project is the registration of migration fish into and trough the "Fischliftschleuse Gössnitz", the evaluation of the function of the Fischliftschleuse based on Woschitz et al. (2003) and the behavior monitoring of fish in the transport basket. Migration of fish is recorded without contact and stress. The camera system is recording video clips of all migrating fish and all drifting particles including the time stamp of the movement. Fish species and fish size are detected via post processing review of the video clips.
