Fischökologisches Monitoring an der Alten Donau im Jahr 2017
- Wasser - Atmosphäre - Umwelt
Abstract
In 2016 the pH-values raised very high in the Alte Donau due to the massive production of macrophytes and kept hight during a longer period. Raised pH-values over a longtime period can lead to damages of the fish fauna. On the one hand lesions of the gills can occur, on the other hand autointoxication can be a result because of the chemical transformation from ammonium to ammonia. The aim of this project is to analyse the condition factors of several fish species in the Alte Donau, which will be taken via the usage of fishing nets.
