Special papers with high thermal resistance
Abstract
This ABCT subproject is concerned with cellulosic pulps that are to be processed into special papers with high thermal and aging resistance. First, molecular parameters are identified which influence the aging behavior and thermal stability, such as molecular weight distribution, degree of oxidation, profiles of oxidized groups, or hemicellulose content. Second, appropriate physical and chemical methods to increase the stability are studied.
