30 years Danube Island Vienna - Exhibition

In 1988, the contruction of the Viennese Danube Island and the New Danube were completed. For the 30th anniversary in 2018, a small exihibition will be prepared to display the history of planning and contruction. Target groups are visitors of the Danube Island and the recreation areas of the New Danube. They shall be informed that planning and construction were accompanied by complex and long debates about an improved floodprotection of Vienna. Based on previous knowledge and new search especially for visual material, this project will deliver posters dealing with flood protection, landscape palnning and architecture, recreation and eecology.
