Enhancing Environmental Performance and Climate Proofing of Infrastructure Investments in the Western Balkan Region from an EU integration perspective - BOKU-Met Contribution Part 2

The overall objective of the project “Enhancing Environmental Performance and Climate Proofing of Infrastructure Investments in the Western Balkan Region from an EU integration perspective” is to improve tmprove the capacities of the countries involved in climate proofing investments in the infrastructure sector through integration of EU best practices with regards to climate proofing and green infrastructure in the development of road infrastructure. BOKU has been selected as a Partner for the implementation of the activities under Component 1 and 2 of the project. Subsequent to it's work in the first part of the project (Projectend: 30.04.2019), BOKU-Met will contribute to the development of a set of guidelines on integrating climate change into EIA and SEA requirements. Guidelines will be prepared for every participating country – thus taking into account the specificities of every country in the region. BOKU will not prepare the guidelines – but will contribute to their development and assess the scientific soundness of the content, as well as participate in the presentation of the guidelines to relevant stakeholders.
