Abstract
The increase of the nutritive value in forage is an essential goal for every grassland farmer, especially for dairy farms. Due to high quality in the forage, the use of expensive concentrate feed can be minimized, without decrease in milk yield. This increases the demands on quality and quantity of protein in the forage.
