Evaluation of green retrofit to enhance climate resilience of the buildings BH Korneuburg and BH Mödling

The building green of BH Korneuburg (Greened glass facade) and BH Mödling (green roof and green facade to be implemented) are evaluated referring to microclimatic effects. Die research questions adress: a) vegetation development, vitalty, microclimatic key parameters b) microclimatic effects in front of, on and indoors behind the facade c) impacts on facade surfaces and elements. The study aims to identify and anticipate stress factors to the plants, to optimise the performance potential and to derive maintenance concepts and greening options and potentials for comparable objects.
