Evaluating the effects of climate warming on wild bee communities
Abstract
Climate change threatens our biodiversity and its associated ecosystem services such as pollination. An important step to counteract this is to identify the wild bee species and their habitats that are particularly affected. By modelling future developments of wild bee fauna on the basis of historical and current field data, the influence of climate change is validated and the results provide an im-portant tool for applied wild bee conservation measures.
