Expert input to the virtual seminar “Capacitación sobre el acceso al mercado para cafés certificados con DO/IG"

The Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) implements the Peruvian-Swiss Intellectual Property Project (PESIPRO) as well as the Indonesian-Swiss Intellectual Property Project (ISIP-II) on behalf of the Swiss State Secretariat of Economic Affairs (SECO). In both projects, Geographical Indications are a focus component, and within this component, the main product selected is coffee. In both projects, a virtual seminar will take place in December 2020 that aims at raising awareness of the private sector (coffee traders, buyers, and roasters) about the significance of Geographical Indication certification.
