Assessment of the micro climate and thermal comfort in the area of ​​green waiting shelters

Definition and explanation of the evaluation criteria of the microclimate and the thermal comfort of green waiting shelters based on common comfort indices. Evaluation based on the criteria defined within the project, using measurements and simulations. The following four types are customized: (1) MA42 plant troughs (“wild wine” / Parthenocissus sp.), (2) Sedum mat, (3) prototype (vertical and roof greening) and (4) without greening. Consideration of the position in the street space as well as shading effects of trees and buildings.
