What's Next? There is no point of no return.

In this moment of seemingly compounding global crises and existential concerns about the future of the planet, it seems that there is no point of return. However, as Norwegian philosopher ArneNæss highlighted this might not be true. Therefore, we, the Institute of Landscape Architecture, BOKU Vienna and the Environmental Technology and Design section at the Department of Urbanism, TU Delft, are seeking within What’s Next? contribution to the Climate Biennale strategies, design visions and speculations to address the effects and implications of climate emergency on territories. Through this collateral event of the Climate Biennale Vienna 2024 we were looking for a contribution of emerging designers, planners, theorists and researchers on how to tackle the climate challenges.
