Green Civil Engineering

The project involves fundamental research into sustainable construction from a structural engineering perspective, bio-based materials, structural optimisation, the circular economy, automated construction and life-cycle analysis. The main focus is on concrete and timber. The methodology employed includes literature reviews, as well as experimental and numerical investigations into the behaviour of materials and structural components.
