Calculating the risk of damage of the Wald/Krimml reservoir by debris flow.

The Blaubach leads in Krimml into the Krimmler Ache on the left bank. Due to the barrage on the current deposit cone of the Blaubach, the natural deposit area for mudflows out of the Blaubach got limited. By the means of geomorphological approaches and the simulations of mudflows, the reduction of the potential deposit volume caused by the barrage and the resulting danger caused by mudflows was estimated. The bed load capacity of the Krimmler Ache had changed, because of the variation in landscape due to the barrage.
