Glaciological and engineering geological investigations on the Westlichen Trippkees (Hochalmgruppe, Carinthia).

On the Trippkees yearly there are some measurements as the height of the ice margin, the firn line and the rate of the glacial movement. The IAG works at the registration of the glacial formation, the moraine developement and the joint sets in the rock mass. The running of water and the erosion channels are mapped. The glacier is an important water discharge for the water power plant Malta.
