Abstract
The CABLE-98 is a research on the coastal boundary layer of the Indian coast near Madras. A 10m mast with turbulence and heat flux measurements as well as a Mini-Sodar are operated at two sites. One period close to the coast and the seconde periode app.5km inland. The data are used for modelstudies done with differend mesoscale models.
