    Abstract

    The project deals with the following aspects: What policies are in place in different EU member states? What are the costs of the programmes (programme cost plus transaction cost, social cost are not estimated.)? What are the determinants for farmers´ participation? Moreover to estimate market and trade effects of such policies and to gain further knowledge how to improve cost-effectiveness of particular programmes.
