Abstract
The purpose of this Concerted Action project is to bring together existing information on end uses and substitution of wood products and to examine methods for conducting end use and substitution analyses. In a further step a survey is carried out among the European forest industry to find out how important end-use and substitution analyses are considered in this branch, what these analyses should cover and how important the regular monitoring of these trends are.
