Preliminary investigation to the introduction of an environmental management system at QUELLE AG.

This preliminary study looked at the extent to which environmental guidelines and objectives to protect the environment already exist for the QUELLE company, what internal organizational aspects were in place for the realization of these goals and guidelines, and which additional steps would be necessary. In addition, a listing of all environmental regulations applicable for this particular company was made, in conjunction with determining who within the company was responsible for ensuring compliance with the regulations. Based on these preliminary steps, a checklist of measures needed to proceed in establishing an environmental management system within the organization was drawn up.
