Assessment of the ecological status of the River Raab, a 5th order stream in Burgenland/Austria. Development of a management-programme.
Abstract
The status quo of the physical environment of the River Raab, benthic invertebrates, fish fauna, amphibia and birds will be assessed. Based on these results reference conditions will be defined in order to evaluate the current state and to outline a management programme, following the regulations of the EU-Water Framework Directive.
