Synthesis of Toxocara canis antigens
Abstract
The project is centered on the chemical and enzymatic synthesis of cell wall carbohydrates occurring in the worm parasite Toxocara canis, which is transmitted to humans via the faeces of dogs and leads to various diseases. The expected outcome of the project will be the development of monoclonal antibodies assisting in the defense against parasitic infections.
