Abstract
Due to the capacity increase of the WWF information centre from 2004 onwards, the institute worked out an integrated approach for the wastewater treatment. The concept includes compost toilets and an constructed wetland for the residual wastewater which is afterwards infiltrated into the ground water by an infiltration pond. The treatment plant will be a part of the environmental teaching practise within the WWF courses held at the centre.
