Sewage sludge conception for Amstetten.
Abstract
In this project the possibilities of using sewage sludge under the specific regional aspects of a certain community like Amstetten should be ruled out. This regional project is part of a comprehensive scientific program for reintegration of sewage sludge into agriculture. The aim of this project is to find a basis for an objective judgement of sewage sludge usage in the agricultural sector. A special part of this work is the reduction of pollutants by controlling the emissions and by suggesting which efforts for effective pollution reduction should also be taken as a priority. The quality pretensions from the toxicological point of view and the vulnerability of the effected systems shall lead to a pattern of actions.
