Experimental Haemophilus influenzae type b oligosaccharide - S-layer protein conjugate vaccine.
Abstract
The goal of this project is the construction of an experimental conjugate vaccine com-posed of partial structures from capsular polysaccharide material obtained from Haemophilus influenzae Typ b (Hib) and selected S-layer proteins. The resulting conjugates are use-ful for assessing the application potential of haptenated surface-layer preparations as carriers/adjuvants for the induction of immunity to poorly immunogenic molecules.
