WLS Report 61: GIRAT: Work out of a GIS supported data base as an instrument of risk analysis within the range of the 'Tauernnordrandstoerung' between Taxenbach and Lend, on behalf of the provincial government of Salzburg
Abstract
Due to its geological situation a federal highway and local roads are exposed to various profound and of shallow slope movements in the Salzach Valley between Taxenbach and Lend. The exact situation of several measuring points of the office of the Salzburger federal state government as well as the results of the measurements and drillings accomplished in the investigation area are to be integrated just like existing shift and setting curves into a digital elevatation model. Thus a rapidly available digital instrument is to be provided, which permitts adequate reaction when problems at roads and bridge construction arise.
