Abstract
The use of natural light should reduce the costs of in vitro culture. Tests were made to find simple systems to conduct sunlight into "growth chambers". The cost efficient procedure of this system should encourage and increase the use of micropropagation in poor countries. The experiments are conducted with banana, yams, cocoyam, potato and sweetpotato.
