Thermodynamic Equation of State for Natural Gas Mixtures
Abstract
Natural gas ist the most environmentally friendly fossile energy carrier. For its transport and processing, however, up to 15 per cent of ist energy content are consumed. This amount of energy can be minimized by optimization of the processes by using highly accurate thermodynamic data. For their supply we use the BACKONE equation of state which has been developed at our Institute. The item at issue is the detemination of the pure substance and binary mixture parameters.
