Abstract
It is investivated how short-time regional reductions of emissions in north-eastern Austria would effect the concentration of ambient ozone. Model calculations are performed with the meteorological model MM5 and the photochemical transport model CAMx. Detailed calculations concerning the apportionment of ozone precursor sources are carried out and a number of different emission scenarios are applied. In particular the effect of traffic in the rural environment is studied.
