WSP - Water Safety Plan
Abstract
The elements of the HACCP concept, which are well known from the food industry, shall be realised with drinking water as a "Water safety plan" (WSP). The WSP includes the identification of health risks and critical control points, limit values, the etablishment of preventive actions, the verification of the WSP and the design and verivication of documents. The self-monitoring according to §134 WRG and the WSP of the WHO (World Health Organisation) shall be compared. The results of this work should give first impressions and understandings with a WSP for drinking water in Austria, through an exact analysis of all steps towards a plan for drinking water safety.
