Abstract
The "Feuersang-avalanche" is protected by avalanche protection buildings since the opening of the "Mallnitz-Tauernschleuse". The new building concept will complete and restore the avalanche defense works. The goal of this research is on one hand to evaluate the actual state of safety, and on the other hand to develop a decision support tool.
