Abstract
Decentralised concepts for the utilization of organic wastes in agriculture by compostiong or biogas production and feeding of food residues to pigs are developed and possibilities for the realisation are proposed. The examples of realisation are shown with the rural communes Tamsweg and St. Johann im Pongau.
