Succesion studies with the help of diaspore pools in soils of anthropogenic plant communities
Abstract
The development of anthropogenic plant communities depends not only on abiotic site conditions, but also on the seeding/planting material and the resulting seed pools in the soil. The seed (diaspore) reserves in the soil may influence the succession in case of disturbances. For this reason, soil samples shall be taken in 3 different anthropogenic plant communities (the composition and structure of which have already been studied for several years) to study the diaspore pools.
