Abstract
Grant holder: MSc Ngoc Anh LAI, Hanoi University of Techology (Vietnam). Financial Grant Support: ASEA-UNInet (ÖAD) Period: 1. November 2006 till 31. October 2009 In view of the greenhouse gas emissions there is a global interest a) in ORC-processes (ORC = Organic Rankine Cycle) for electric power production from biomass, solar heat, geothermal heat and waste heat as well as b) in heat pumps. The problem is the screening of working fluids for optimizing these processes in particular at medium temperatures. In order to achive that goal it is necessary to screen available xperimental data, to check their accuracy and consistency, to measure new data, to develop fundamental equations and use the latter for the calculation of thermodynamic cyles.
