Abstract
The tasks of the project are to 1) develope an evaluation concept for the Austrian Forest Dialogue 2003-2008, its otuputs and its impacts and to 2) evaluate the Work Programme of th Austrian Forest Dialogue. Taks 2) comprises: a) the analysis the coherence of between the fields of activity, the principles and targets of the Austrian Forest Programme 2006 on the one hand and the related Work Programme (11/2008) on the other hand, b) to dervie a typologie of measures of the Work Programme, based on political science conepts and criteria, c) and the analysis of the Work Programme as regards the distribution of measures, types, the degree of actual implementation, responsible organisations, the operational quality of measures, and the causal relationship between the Forest Dialogue and the measures as formulated in the Work Programme. It is intended to further evaluate the Forest Dialogue process as well as the implementation of selected measures of its in Work Programme in a follow-up projekt in 2009.
