Quality control in road construction, digitalization and big data

The quality control plays an important role in road construction. The experimental investigation is mainly concerned with the suitability of soil for construction purpose and with the compaction control in road construction. Depending on the scope and the special needs of work, laboratory and in-situ tests will be carried out. The test data will be digitalized. Out of the massive dataset some useful relationships and correlations will be established, which can be used in praxis.
