Animal Perception and Seismic Phenomena

The Institute of Applied Geology of the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna is starting to co-ordinate a project on “Animal Perception and Seismic Phenomena", with the objective of identifying seismic phenomena that announce earthquakes and identify and verify their effect on specific animal behaviour. Currently, a pre-study for this project has been started to identify causalities and methods to be applied for the main project. This pre-study and the project will be carried out with Indonesian Research institutions in Bandung and Jakarta; the sponsor of the project is the company Red Bull.
