Concept for an Austrian Climate Data Centre

An "Austrian Climate Data Centre" could become a central location for climatological data for climate change and climate change impact research in Austria. Aim of this project is to define one (or several) concepts, what this data centre should include and how it can be realized. The concept will include information about the data stored at the data base and technical needs and solutions (hard and software) for the necessary applications. Additionally the concept will also include an estimate of the costs for the installation of the centre and the operational costs.
