Abstract
Even in Vienna - a city of high quality of life - the citizens' wish of living within a green surrounding increases. That is why in 1992 the legislator has changed the Vienna allotment garden law to allow all-year-dwelling in accounted areas. This project deals with the reflection of how the idea of alloment gardens - considering the opportunity of all-year-dwelling in accounted areas - should be refined to meet the requirements of diversified demand (e. g. young, flexible people; people with migration background). This question will be approached from an eco-social point of view. The aim of the project is to create sustainable courses of action for Vienna's policy.
