Abstract
Alternative biomass utilization paths for energy and food production will be assessed and optimized by developing an integrative and spatially explicit modeling framework for the Sauwald region in Austria. The framework integrates climatological, economic, bio-physical and social data and models sustainable biomass utilization paths in context of climate and global change. The methodology and results of the model framework will be customized for the interested public through a WebGIS platform.
