Strategic planning for the development of water supply infrastructure - approaches, methods, tools and practical application

The project deals with the strategic planning of the future development of the infrastructure of a water utility. After the set up of a stationary hydraulic model, the focus is now laid on calibration and instationary modelling of demand and operational scenarios, modelling of specific scenarios for failures and risk management, and the modelling of drinking water quality in the distribution system to the end consumer. The investigations are carried out using different software with different operation modules.
