Development of pipe settling tank

During the project a pipe settling tank should be designed and tested. Therefore, the sedimentation rates as well as the flushing characteristic should be optimized, respecting the economic basic conditions. The project includes the design of the pipe settling tank, accomplishment of pilot tests in a scale model to optimize flushing characteristics, and the performance tests on a prototype in the hydraulic laboratory of the IWHW.
