Implementation of the prognosis-software KAPS-2020 as Java-application

For the project “Abfallmengenprognose für den Steiermärkischen Landesabfallwirtschaftsplan 2010“ a software-tool was developed. Purpose of this tool was to forecast and monitor the changes of the amount of wastes in municipalities and waste management association. This tool was implemented in Excel-VBA for internal use only in Department 19D of the Styrian provincial government. Aim of this project is to give the interested public access to this program. To facilitate this, the software will be re-implemented as Java-application and designed in a more user-friendly way.
